7-Plex Landroller

The 7-Plex Landroller, or X7, is the widest roller we build: five sizes from 88’ to 112’. At 112 feet and 6 mph it covers over 80 acres per hour, so a section that used to take a day takes a morning. Every size runs the same 42" x 5/8" drum and folds to 19’11” for the road.

What it does in the field

Rolling flattens clods, presses rocks and root balls back down and leaves the surface firm and even. Seed sits against soil instead of air, and at harvest the header runs low without picking up stone. Soybeans, cereals, hay and silage ground all get rolled, before seeding or after.

Drums and frame

Drums are 42” x 0.625” W on 3" heavy-duty shafts running in triple-lip sealed bearings. The frame is Grade 50 structural steel, North American. The X-frame ties the seven sections together so the load spreads through the machine in a turn instead of landing on one wing.

Folding and transport

Transport width is 19’11“ on all five sizes, which is often narrower than the tractor pulling it. Transport length runs from 67‘3” on the 88’ to 79‘3” on the 112’, and overall height is 6’ 6”. A fast-unfold axle, a hydraulic floating hitch, a hydraulic frame lock and a self-aligning wing lock handle the change from road to field; the hydraulic handles are colour-coded so nothing goes in the wrong port.

What it takes to pull one

Horsepower runs 440+ on the 88’ up to 560+ on the 112’, with four hydraulic ports and 5GPM (19LPM) at 2800 PSI. Minimum tractor weight goes from 39,600 lbs to 50,400 lbs. The roller itself weighs 55,620 lbs at 88’ and 63,395 lbs at 112’, which works out at 632 lbs per foot on the smallest and 566 lbs per foot on the largest.

Standard equipment

Hydraulic frame lock, self-aligning wing lock, high-clearance rear axle, LED lighting and a mechanical acre counter are standard. Tires are IF320/70R15. Mandako green or black finish.
